Trades of Grace exists to under-gird the efforts local churches and Christian partners are already making to share the gospel with Alaskans. We do this by utilizing mission teams of men to complete projects that encourage these front-line men and women and leverage the work they are doing to reach out to their community.
If you or someone you know has a project that would serve this purpose, we would be interested in hearing from you. We do, however, have a few criteria that our projects have to meet. If your project falls within these parameters, or if you think we could discuss options to make a potential project work, please fill out the brief form below, and someone from our T.O.G. team will be back with you shortly.
T.O.G. projects must:
- Be ministry/organizationally funded. While we’re not opposed to asking our guys to bring some supplies and tools to job sites, we simply can’t afford to fund all the projects we support. In short, we’re happy to provide excellent, FREE labor for the cause of making disciples.
- Have a ministry/organizational project leader who will work with our T.O.G. staff and then the team leader to make sure teams are prepared for their assignments and jobs are completed with excellence. While this can be a staff member of the ministry or organization, we’ve also found retired church members or supporters serve very well in this role.
- Be within 20 miles of Anchorage OR have a place to house teams and feed them. This doesn’t mean that you would have to house and feed the team… just that you have the facilities available so that we have a place to set up cots, to store groceries and to cook for the team.
